Theoretical and numerical study of the stochasticity of the populations of interacting cells.
The nonlinear theory of dynamical systems will be applied to collections of interacting cells. The fixed points as well as the trajectories starting from the fixed points will be studied. We will distinguish the biochemical signals which generate specific interactions of cells as well as their proliferation and stochasticity will only concern these signals. The goal is to study the role of disorder on the results not taking into account stochasticity. We will study the stability of these trajectories according to the nature of the noise and its amplitude. To do this, numerical methods will be combined with asymptotic mathematical studies

Diploma required: Doctorate in theoretical physics (statistical or non-linear) or in applied mathematics.
-Knowledge of specialized software
-Training in theoretical biophysics or bio-medicine. Numerous training possibilities via the Cancer Institute, Sorbone University, Institut Curie and CANCEROPOLE
