Job Description

Missions

Contribution to the Lifeline program on Working Package 3, which focuses on a demonstrator illustrating the application of the mathematical theory of multi-agent viability in monetary economics.

Activity

Designing a Model for Applying multi-agent viability to the context of a monetary Union (WAEMU case).
Implementing the framework of the demonstrator
Assessing the impact of changing the thresholds of viability criteria on the robustness of the monetary union
Publishing articles in leading journals, book, and guides for computer coding

Your Profil

Skills

Openness to interdisciplinary approach between exact sciences and social sciences
Effective practice on applying the viability theory in economics or beyond
Good understanding of the monetary issues in the economic system
Strong writing and oral skills in French and English

Your Work Environment

Work location: Martinique
UMR CNRS 8053 PHEEAC (Power, History, Slavery, Environment, Atlantic, Caribbean) is a research group comprising around 40 teachers and researchers from the University of the French West Indies, supported by 6 CNRS researchers. The team focuses on interdisciplinary research addressing issues related to the governance of socio-ecosystems in the Caribbean region, which is at the crossroads of Europe, America, and Africa, by integrating the fields of law, political science, economics, sociology, information and communication sciences, anthropology, history, and geography.
This teamwork will be carried out within the framework of INRAE's national viability network.
The successful candidate will benefit from a fully equipped computing work environment and access to university libraries.
Travels may be requested.
