Missions
The mission will consist in experimental ant theoretical study of the interaction between acoustic waves and reactive gas mixture in confined vessel.
Activities
The postdoc will develop new experimental apparatus for visualizing of acoustic interactions thanks to schlieren and the flow field thanks to Particle Image velocimetry. The particles used will be oil droplets and Titanim oxyde particles, illuminated by continuous LASER.
Skills
Applicant should have a strong scientific background in fluid dynamics, combustion and physics, with theoretical and experimental abilities, and a motivation for developing python and matlab analysis.
Work Context
IRPHE labratory is specialised in fluidic physical chemestry phenomena, including combustion. Regularly, permanent positions as researchers at CNRS, Aix-Marseille University and Centrale Marseille are opened.
The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
Constraints and risks
The applicant will require abilities for experimental work with reactive flows
