Missions
The Candidate for this position will be responsible for the technical and scientific development around the design and fabrication of the MEA-microfluidic system. The candidate will work in close partnership with the project consortium to integrate sensors and participate to experimental developments.
This research project, funded as part of the Diamochip collaborative project, will involve developing a microfluidic system with microelectrodes for in vitro reconstruction of an endocrine loop. The microfluidic system will house a set of culture chambers for different cell types, myocytes, Langherans islets, adipocytes and hepatocytes, which will be linked by a closed-loop circulation. Some of the chambers will also be fitted with microelectrodes to monitor the electrical activity of the cells, and glucose and lactate sensors will be inserted into the loop.
Activités
- Clean room microfabrication
- Participation to Cell culture
- Design and prototyping of microfluidic close loop circulation
- 3d printing
- Evaluation and experiments
Compétences
The candidate for this post should have a doctorate in biomedical engineering with a background in microfabrication
Contexte de travail
