Job Description

Thesis Subject

Role of intercellular feedback during vertebrate neurgenesis.
Missions: This project explores the role of juxtacrine cellular interactions in determining the cellular fate of embryonic neural progenitors. The aim will therefore be to develop and utilise tools that enable these interactions to be modulated in a mosaic-like manner and to quantify the effects on the progression of neurogenesis at different scales: at the level of the target cells, at the level of their immediate neighbours, and at the overall tissue level.
Activities:
Conducting experiments (molecular biology, chicken embryo manipulation, histology, imaging), summarising and presenting results, discussion / analysis with direct supervisor, bibliographic review on the subject of study, presentation of the results in labmeeting and at conferences
