Description of the thesis topic

The thesis will consist of modeling turbulence using Machine Learning methods, in particular Physics Informed Neurol Networks (PINNs). The aim is to obtain an original method allowing in particular to take into account and reproduce extreme events.

Work Context

The thesis will be located in the laboratory of hydrodynamics of CNRS and Ecole Polytechnique, in Palaiseau, France, and will consist of theoretical and numerical modellng.
