Description du sujet de thèse
Argument(ation) mining, the new and rapidly growing area of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and computational models of argument, aims at the automatic recognition of argument structures in large resources of natural language texts.
This PhD position aims at investigating new computational methods to reduce distortions in science communication. The envisioned methodology will focus on Argument Mining with a strong attention on emotion analysis.

MARIANNE is a research team of Université Côte d'Azur (UCA), Inria, CNRS. The research fields of the team are argument mining, argumentation-based reasoning, counter-argument generation, and argumentation quality.
