Description du sujet de thèse
This PhD will focus on the control of transport equations admitting discontinuities at the boundary. Numerous physical phenomena can be modeled with such equations, such as systems arising from nonsmooth mechanics. The objective consists in developing a methodology, based on the characteristics method, allowing to make a link between these equations and difference equations, that are quite well known in a linear setting.
Contexte de travail
The PhD student will do his PhD in LS2N, in the CODEx team. The PhD student will be asked to:
-gather the necessary bibliography to obtain innovating results about control of hyperbolic systems.
- write articles about this topic.
- present his works in France and abroad.
Le poste se situe dans un secteur relevant de la protection du potentiel scientifique et technique (PPST), et nécessite donc, conformément à la réglementation, que votre arrivée soit autorisée par l'autorité compétente du MESR.
