Description du sujet de thèse

Design and Application of Highly Reactive Redox-Active Organophosphorus Catalysts

Contexte de travail

Within the Laboratory of Fundamental and Applied Heterochemistry (LHFA), the candidate will work in a scientifically outstanding environment, recognized both nationally and internationally for its expertise in heteroelement chemistry. The laboratory offers a sophisticated experimental infrastructure, ideally suited for the manipulation and characterization of highly reactive species.

This research platform provides an exceptional setting for the synthesis of new molecular entities and the in-depth study of their reactivity. The candidate will benefit from high-level scientific supervision and access to state-of-the-art equipment (advanced spectroscopic facilities, inert-atmosphere manipulation systems, photolysis techniques, etc.), enabling the pursuit of both fundamental and applied investigations into the chemistry of these reactive species.

Contraintes et risques

All experiments will be conducted in strict compliance with the safety standards in force at both the laboratory and the University. The LHFA is equipped with facilities specifically designed for this type of research, including fume hoods and gloveboxes operating under inert atmosphere, high-performance containment and ventilation systems, and rigorous safety protocols that are regularly updated.
The candidate will receive prior training in good laboratory practices and in the management of chemical risks specific to these manipulations. Thus, although the work involves technically demanding aspects, it will be carried out in a fully controlled and safe environment.
