Missions
As part of the ANR IPATRO project, the Robotics and InteractionS team of the LAAS CNRS is recruiting an engineer in charge of the development of the robotic telepresence platform associated with the project. On the one hand, it will be a question of participating in the development of the robot's control interface and on the other hand, of working on the development of the robot itself. In both cases, from a hardware and software point of view.
Activités
- Hardware design (prototyping of parts, 3D printing)
- Software development (react, ros, python, c++)
- Software integration of the various components developed in the project
- Preparation and participation in meetings with project partners
- Participation in the promotion of the project (oral presentations, articles),
- Participation in the implementation of validation scenarios
Compétences
- PhD in computer science or robotics with experience in human-robot interaction
- Experience with robotic software environments (ROS1/ROS2, OMPL, URDF, gazebo,...) and web and network development
- C++, Python, React development
- Ability to work in a team and in an interdisciplinary environment,
- Organizational (project management), writing (in French and English) and synthesis skills
Contexte de travail
The Robotics and InteractionS (RIS) team is a research team at LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse, internationally recognized for its work on the development of autonomous robtos integrating perception, reasoning, learning, action and reaction capacities. The team's main research areas are: architectures for autonomous robots, human-robot interaction, learning as well as task and movement planning.
