Missions

As part of the team 'physiopathological interactions between the immune system and its microenvironment' in the CNRS research unit UPR3572 "Immunology, Immunopathology and Therapeutic Chemistry " (I2CT) at IBMC, the candidate (M/F) will be responsible for isolating and culturing primary cells and cell lines, and analysing them by flow cytometry and single-cell transcriptomics.

Activités

In support of research projects in the laboratory, the candidate (M/F) will isolate and culture mammalian cells and will be responsible for bioinformatic analysis of data and management of the transcriptomic platform (inventory of reagents, ordering and centralisation of experimental protocols).

Compétences

The candidate (M/F) must have solid experience
- in cell culture
- in flow cytometry
- in molecular biology
- in single-cell transcriptomics
The candidate (M/F) should hold a PhD in immunology or molecular/cell biology.
The candidate (M/F) will be dynamic and responsive in their work and enjoy working in a team. Oral and written communication in English and French is required (international team/collaboration, working with study protocols written in French and English).

Contexte de travail

The candidate (M/F) will join the 'Physiopathological interactions of the immune system with its microenvironment' team, part of the CNRS UPR 3572 unit at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (IBMC). In addition to the team leader, Dr. Christopher G. Mueller, the team includes a CNRS research director, Dr. Vincent Flacher, a senior lecturer, Dr. Benjamin Voisin, two postdoctoral researchers, eight doctoral students and two master's students. The postdoctoral researcher (M/F) will work part-time (80%) under the supervision of Dr. Mueller. He or she will also work on projects led by Drs Flacher and Voisin.

The successful candidate will have access to all the Unit's resources and will enjoy the same conditions as CNRS staff in terms of training, career development and various social benefits. The team has strong international connections and is part of the URI group and the EURIdoc programme. It has numerous links with industry.
