Missions

- Coordinate the administrative and financial monitoring of research projects between the administrative service and the scientific managers
- Support recruitment, the implementation of conventions, missions, and scientific events
- Organize communication and operational actions related to consortia or projects

Activities

- Prepare and monitor the administrative and financial operations of the projects (monitoring of expenses and revenues, budgetary reporting), in conjunction with the management services concerned
- Support recruitment procedures (doctoral students and postdocs): publication of offers, organization of interviews, preparation of files for the unit's administrative team, follow-up of visa applications if necessary
- Take charge of the invitation procedures of external scientists, their follow-up, and the travel of project members
- Follow the implementation of research agreements with the CNRS partnership and valorisation unit and service
- Accompany and advise scientists in the assembly of their projects
- Organize events and conferences, and ensure the resulting operational acts
- Ensure the visibility of projects, the dissemination of information within the consortia and outside, in conjunction with the unit's communication officer

- Organization and functioning of higher education and public research

Work Context

Within the IRIF laboratory (UMR 8243 of the CNRS and the University of Paris Cité), the Algorithms and Complexity team, as well as the Dynamic Systems group of the Automata team, are winners of several European projects including ERC, and funding programs of the national strategy on quantum technologies and cybersecurity, mainly

The person recruited will be placed under the hierarchical responsibility of the director of the IRIF, with functional supervision carried out by the scientific managers of projects in connection with the secretary general of the laboratory.

In particular, the activity will essentially be distributed uniformly over three research axes: cryptography, quantum computing, dynamic systems.

The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.

The position is subject to a safety authorization for work on topics identified as strategic by the Ministry of Research.
