Missions

Under the joint responsibility of the unit's General Secretary and the department's Financial Manager, the officer will be responsible for the administrative, financial and accounting management of a portfolio of research projects (Priority Research and Equipment Programmes (PEPR), Horizon Europe Framework Programme programmes (ERC, EIC, etc.), industrial collaborations, etc.), in compliance with the techniques, rules

Activités

- Checking that research agreements and contracts are in line with the budget and allocating appropriations - Carrying out all operations relating to expenditure, income and transfers of appropriations for projects and contracts, as well as missions by staff and invited guests - Carrying out operations and administrative and budgetary monitoring of recruitment on fixed-term contracts and time sheets - Participating in logistical support (premises, equipment, supplies) for a department's activity and events (conferences, meetings, seminars, colloquia) - Producing and collecting the legal, accounting and/or financial data provided for in contracts (supporting documents, invoices, scientific reports) and their audits - Using the unit's information systems, drawing up financial statements, analyses and balance sheets, as well as the management and summary tables required to monitor the unit's activity, Produce and collect the legal, accounting and/or financial data provided for in contracts (supporting documents, invoices, scientific reports) and their audits - Draw up, using the unit's information systems, financial statements, analyses and balance sheets, as well as the management charts and summary tables needed to monitor activity - Ensure and report on the progress of ongoing files at meetings - Pass on practical information on administrative, financial and/or accounting procedures, on changes in legislation and their consequences - Keep regularly informed and monitor changes in the regulations in his/her field of activity.

Contexte de travail

The Institut de Recherche en Informatique Fondamentale (IRIF) https://www.irif.fr, is a joint research unit with two main supervisory bodies, CNRS and Université Paris Cité, which hosts a joint Inria project team. The laboratory has around 200 staff. The research carried out at IRIF is based on the study and understanding of the foundations of all computer science, in order to provide innovative solutions to the current and future challenges of digital science. IRIF hosts more than 50 national and European research projects, including 5 PEPR, 4 ERC, 2 EU projects and several industrial collaborations. It leads the IFM GDR (around 2,000 members in more than 100 units), 1 international research laboratory and 8 international research projects. Finally, the IRIF is behind a number of quality of life at work initiatives that have been replicated elsewhere in France (Unit Charter, childcare programme, charter for selection committees, mentoring programme, breastfeeding room), which have been developed by various committees. The person recruited will be part of an administrative team comprising 3 managers, 1 management assistant, 1 financial manager and 1 general secretary. He or she will interact with all the laboratory's teams and departments, as well as with the various administrative departments of the supervisory bodies. He/she will be responsible for the administrative and financial management of a portfolio of research contracts requiring a high level of technical expertise.
