Postdoctoral research project in electrochemistry/physical chemistry in collaboration with the Merck group. The postdoctoral researcher will carry out his/her research work at LISE (Paris-France) with missions at our partner's (Paris region). We are looking for a motivated candidate for the study of the physico-chemical properties of ion exchange resins by impedance spectroscopy.


- construction of a cell suitable for electrochemical impedance measurement
- cell characterization and instrumentation for local measurements
- resin characterisation
- interpretation of results / writing reports and publications


The candidate must have a PhD or equivalent. He (she) should have skills in electrochemistry, impedance spectroscopy and have a developed practical sense. A good level in English is necessary.

Work Context

The work will be carried out mainly at LISE Laboratory, a joint research unit of CNRS and Sorbonne University (Paris). Several missions are planned at our partner (Merck) in Guyancourt.

Constraints and risks

Upon arrival, the candidate will receive safety awareness training in the laboratory.
