Missions
A sociological study of private-sector support services for people with autism in France.
Conducting field research and analysis. Writing articles. Coordinating the research.
Activity
Mapping of support services for people with autism provided by private practitioners. Conducting a series of forty interviews with professionals. Digital ethnography. Data analysis. Writing (articles, report)
Your Profil
Skills
Skills in qualitative research (interviews, digital ethnography), data analysis, writing up findings (reports, articles in peer-reviewed journals in French and English), and research coordination (facilitating team meetings, organising study days).
Your Work Environment
Cermes3, the Center for Research on Medicine, Science, Health, Mental Health, and Society, is a multidisciplinary research laboratory dedicated to the social analysis of transformations in the worlds of science, medicine, and health, as well as their relationship to society. In its current project, the laboratory has chosen to analyze these transformations through the lens of the concept of “crisis,” with a particular focus on the specific effects resulting from the convergence of different types of crises. The laboratory brings together sociologists, historians, anthropologists, political scientists, economists, and psychologists.
