Missions
Raise awareness among different audiences about scientific and technical knowledge and research through educational and outreach activities.
Activités
Management, dissemination, and archiving of information relating to the scientific life of the unit. - Management of the unit's website and development and formatting of communication materials (web, booklets for temporary events, articles, social networks, etc.) for scientific events, where appropriate in conjunction with the unit administrator. - Responding to requests for scientific information and providing assistance, particularly with access to electronic document resources. - In the current context, implementing new educational dissemination tools, setting up online dissemination of the institute's activities, and promoting its activities via social media.
Compétences
- General knowledge of the basics of mediation and scientific dissemination - Familiarity with digital tools and their uses - Good oral and written comprehension of English - Proficiency in internet technologies (creation of multimedia content for websites in collaboration with the IT specialist in charge of programming) - Proficiency in graphic design tools - Responding to specific information and documentation needs (in conjunction with the unit's library) - Assisting institute members with bibliographic databases (Hal, Ribac, etc.) - Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in the context of national and international cooperation
Contexte de travail
The Institut Jean Nicod (UMR 8129) is an internationally renowned multidisciplinary unit in the humanities and social sciences, organizing numerous scientific events in the fields of analytical philosophy, linguistics, and cognitive science. Its academic supervisors are the ENS and the EHESS. The UMR is located at the ENS, 29 rue d'Ulm. In the current context, the agent may be required to work remotely. The agent will be provided with standard computer equipment. The agent will report to the Unit Director (Roberto Casati) and the administrator (Nathalie Evin).
