Job Description

Missions

This postdoctoral position is part of the DigiTREAT project (PEPR Digital Health), which aims to model the progression of rheumatoid arthritis and its evolution in the presence of drug treatment.

Activity

As part of this project, the postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for (i) deparaffinizing murine samples used as models for rheumatoid arthritis; (ii) performing Cut&Tag assays on tissue sections; and (iii) preparing Illumina sequencing libraries for spatial mapping assays.

Your Profil

Skills

The successful candidate must hold a PhD in molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, or a related field, with substantial experience in using Cut&Tag technology and preparing sequencing libraries for spatial genomics assays. Experience in fabricating DNA microarrays using probe deposition robots (Pico-Liter DNA arrayers) is considered an asset for this position.
The selected candidate should be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, capable of working as an independent researcher.
Application Process:

Interested candidates are invited to submit a detailed CV and a list of publications. Please send your application by email to Marco Antonio Mendoza at mmendoza@genoscope.cns.fr.

Your Work Environment

The SysFate team, led by Marco Antonio MENDOZA (PhD/HDR; permanent CNRS researcher), focuses on understanding cell fate decisions through the reorganization of complex gene regulatory programs that define their biological state. SysFate is currently based at the National Sequencing Center, Genoscope, in the city of Evry, south of Paris, France.
