Job Description

Missions

Microbiological experiments to study the dynamics of horizontal transfer of antibiotic resistance genes and its ecological impact on bacterial communities.

Activity

Design of eco-evolutionary experiments on antibiotic resistance genes in synthetic bacterial communities. Genetic editing. Bioinformatic analysis and interpretation of results. Writing of articles. Participation in the running and organization of the laboratory.

Your Profil

Skills

PhD in biochemistry or pharmacy. Laboratory experience on the evolution of antibiotic resistance and on the ecology of synthetic communities. Good level of English.

Your Work Environment

Experimental laboratory located at UMR1137 IAME, as part of a scientific collaboration.

Constraints and risks

Risks associated with performing biosafety level 2 microbiology experiments.

Compensation

Between €2,800 and €4,700 gross per month, depending on experience
