Missions
Development of numerical code and mechanical models for shock propagation in laminated composite materials
Activités
Development of numerical codes to optimize the execution speed and mechanical models of shock propagation and damage of laminated composite materials. It aims to develop new numerical techniques but also dedicated mechanical models capable of performing disassembly operations of composite materials and optimizing them. For the first time, interface damage will also be taken into account and we will be able to focus on scales for application to structures.

Contexte de travail
This project will be carried out within the framework of the European Recreate project dedicated to the recycling of composite materials. The development of new processes for disassembling laminated structures using brief shocks requires the deployment of new rapid numerical methods capable of optimizing the parameters online according to the response of the structure by monitoring techniques. Its work will be coordinated by researchers and associate-professor who are experts in applied mathematics and mechanics of composite materials.
