As part of a collaborative project on the social cognition of young children (CNRS / Max Planck Institute), the recruited person will participate in collecting, coding and, analyzing developmental data in humans.


- Recruitment of participants (infants, young children)
- Organization and testing of experiments
- Building experimental stimuli
- Coding, analysis, archiving of data
- Presentation of the results
- The recruited person might contribute to the training and co-supervision of students


Training in Cognitive Sciences and/or Neurosciences
Scientific curiosity, reasoning skills
Good relational contact, ability to work collaboratively
Excellent command of French (oral and written)
Proficiency in scientific English
Mastery of general office tools (Word, Excel)

Work Context

The person recruited will join the Integrative Neuroscience and Cognition Center laboratory, within the Speech and Cognition team, made up of 8 permanent staff, 2 lab managers, 4 Study Engineers and many students. The recruited person will work under the direct supervision of Olivier Mascaro (CNRS Research Officer) and Olivier Morin (Research Group Leader, Max Planck Institute).

The recruited person will interact with infants, young children, families, as well as with French and English-speaking researchers and students.

Depending on the profile of the person recruited, possibility of subsequent hiring either on a Ph.D. thesis contract or on a research engineer contract for another project with children.

Constraints and risks

The experimental work to be carried out will require a daily presence in the laboratory. Need for flexibility on working days (data collection mainly carried out on Wednesday and Saturday).
