We are seeking a motivated research assistant to join our team as part of a project on the development of spatial and sequential representational abilities in infants. The project investigates how the use of a mental space to represent and actively retrieve sequential information develops from birth to 24 months. While the position does not require deep theoretical involvement, a general understanding of the scientific questions will be expected.

Contacting families and ensuring longitudinal follow-up.

Administering behavioral tests with infants at both sites (maternity ward and Babylab).

Assisting with the creation of experimental stimuli.
Contributing to the overall organization of the project.

Your Profil

Skills

Master's degree in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, or a related field.
Strong interest in developmental psychology.
Experience with, or ease in interacting with, young infants and their parents, along with strong interpersonal skills.
Good organizational skills, autonomy, rigor, and ability to work as part of a team.
Familiarity with behavioral methods used in infant research (e.g., looking-time paradigms, habituation/familiarization) is a plus.

Your Work Environment

The research assistant will be based at the Babylab of the Integrative Neuroscience and Cognition Center (INCC), Université Paris Cité, and will also work at the maternity ward of Bichat Hospital (Paris). The Integrative Neuroscience and Cognition Center (INCC, UMR8002) is a joint research unit of the CNRS and Université Paris Cité, bringing together teams conducting fundamental research in neuroscience, neurophysiology, and cognitive science.
