Missions

The candidate will work on the development of transfer operator methods for skew products of Euclidean dynamical systems with applications in number theory and theoretical computer science. Skew products are used to model different types of costs for the dynamic analysis of algorithms and, for the Euclidean dynamics, to obtain, via transfer operators, different distributional results for continuous fractions

Activities

Research and publication in scientific and journals - seminars - participation in conferences in France and abroad.

Skills

The successful candidate will have a PhD in mathematics, expertise in ergodic theory and dynamical systems, as well as experience working with functional analytical methods and number theory. Particular attention will be given to the Ostrowski numbering system.
