Missions
Preparation of organic monolayers with controlled molecular architecture on semiconductor surfaces ; Study of the influence of structural properties on device sensitivity
Activités
· Preparation of organic monolayers with controlled architectures/structural properties using grafting or molecular self-assembly methods on semiconductor surfaces, using solution chemistry methods
· Characterization of monolayers (chemical composition, structural properties) using ATR-FTIR spectroscopy and AFM microscopy.
· Macroscopic or local measurements of surface potentials using electrochemical techniques or Kelvin probe microscopy (KPFM)
Compétences
· PhD in Materials Science, Physical Chemistry of Materials, or related disciplines
· Knowledge/skills in surface chemistry, surface functionalization, organic monolayers, (ultra)thin films, electrochemistry
· Skills in surface characterization techniques. Experience in AFM microscopy and/or ATR-FTIR spectroscopy would be an asset for the advancement of the project
· Interest/experience for/in instrumental development
· Adaptability to different work environments
Contexte de travail
· Project carried out as part of an ANR project in partnership with teams from CINaM in Marseille
· Work location/environment: PMC laboratory, Electrochemistry and thin layers team, Ecole Polytechnique, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, Palaiseau (91120)
· Short time missions at CINaM in Marseille
