Missions
This postdoc position is part of a project aimed at exploring entanglement phenomena in atomic and molecular processes on the "attosecond" time scale. The aim will be to develop theoretical tools for the design and interpretation of innovative interferometric experiments in attosecond physics.
Activités
The successful candidate will address the various aspects of a theoretician's activities, namely: methodology, development of original computer programs, interpretative analytical calculations, close interactions with colleagues in experimental physics.
Compétences
The successful candidate will have a strong background in optics and quantum entanglement, which will complement the consortium's established expertise in attoscience.
Contexte de travail
This postdoc position is part of the IntriQ-Atto collaborative project resulting from the CEA "Audace!" risk research program. The main interactions will be with Attolab (CEA Saclay) and the LCF (Institut d'Optique, Palaiseau). Mainly based at the LCPMR, the successful candidate will be integrated into the A.S.A.P. team and will benefit from its expertise in the field of "attoscience", through daily interactions with all its members. This project comes at a key period in attoscience, which is seeing the formation of numerous bridges to various scientific fields. In this case, it involves taking a new look at ultra-fast processes in atomic and molecular physics: taking into account the quantum character of light, taking into account and exploiting decoherence dynamics, entanglement between massive particles, etc.
Contraintes et risques
Part of the work will be done at ATTOLAB (CEA) and will involve experiments using intense lasers with the associated risks. Night and weekend work may be required.
