Missions
The recruited engineer will work full-time in the "Cellular Spatial Organization " team. Hie/her responsibilities will include:
- Team organization (stock, vector and strain libraries, small equipment, protocols, etc.)
- Assisting with the maintenance of the Sea Urchins (aquarium, water changes, deliveries, etc.)
- Molecular biology (cloning, sequencing, use of software for plasmid design, etc.)
- Cell biology (imaging, fixation, microinjection, etc.)
Activités
- Participate in the culture and maintenance of sea urchin animals
- Maintain the team's organization and equipment (Lab manager, etc.)
- Assist in the development of projects on cytoskeleton and cell division
- Assist in the design of molecular constructs (plasmids for producing mRNA or recombinant proteins)
Compétences
- Excellent organizational skills
- General knowledge of molecular and/or cellular biology
- Autonomy and ability to interact with team members
- Some knowledge of aquariums
Contexte de travail
The team "Cellular Spatial Organization" studies mechanisms regulating cell division, embryonic development, and, more recently, cytoplasmic mechanics.
