The post-doc project aims at studying the conformation, evolution and regulation of kinetochore-microtubule interactions throughout meiosis in C. elegans and mouse oocytes using correlative light and electron microscopy. The post-doc project is funded through a collaborative ANR grant with the Wassmann lab.
-Deal with C. elegans strain maintenance
-Use classical genetic methods
-Light and electron microscopy methods
-Coordinate with the partner team (http://www.ibps.upmc.fr/en/research/developmental-biology-laboratory/mom-mammalian-oocyte-meiosis)
-Previous experience with the C. elegans model
