Missions

The role of the researcher recruited will be to carry out research in symplectic topology and its applications to Hamiltonian dynamics, and to participate in the activities of the group of mathematicians working in this field at the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu Paris Rive Gauche, in particular Russell Avdek and Vincent Humilière.

Activities

- Research work at the highest level.
- Collaboration with Russell Avdek, Vincent Humilière and/or other members of the IMJ-PRG.
- Participation in the life of the math department, in particular seminars and working groups organized by the symplectic topology group.

Skills

Particular attention will be paid to candidates with expertise in symplectic topology and Hamiltonian dynamics, but these fields are understood in a broad sense.

Work Context

The person recruited will be part of the Algebraic Analysis team of the IMJ-PRG (UMR 7586) at Sorbonne University. This postdoctoral fellowship is funded by the ERC HSD. The contract will last 24 months. The start date of the contract is scheduled for September 1, 2025 (but is flexible depending on the availability of the person recruited).
