• Bio-inspired systems and technological applications (mechanisms and sensors, generative design, bio-inspired material structuring)
• Biomechanics and mechanics of movement (movement analysis, modeling, materials)
• Neuroscience and cognitive science (proprioception, motor control, neurophysiology)

The Bio-inspired Systems team (SBI) at the Institute of Movement Sciences (ISM, UMR 7287) is dedicated to the modeling and design of mechanical, robotic, and technological systems inspired by living organisms.

This position aims to develop a prototype bio-inspired muscle actuator. This project is supported by the CNRS INNOVATION pre-maturation program.
