Missions

The candidate will analyze CRISPR-screen and single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data generated by the team from patients with hematologic malignancies to model cellular heterogeneity, explore malignant cell dynamics in relation to the microenvironment, and assess the impact of targeted therapies. They will contribute to deciphering the biological mechanisms underlying therapy resistance.

Activités

- Contribute to a research program focused on analyzing, integrating, and interpreting large-scale genomic data, with an emphasis on single-cell RNA sequencing datasets.
- Develop and implement new statistical methods and automated pipelines to analyze and visualize high-throughput sequencing data.
- Analyze and interpret results, collaborate with research partners, and produce scientific publications to advance understanding of genomic mechanisms and therapeutic outcomes

Compétences

Proficiency in R programming and tools for reproducible analyses (Docker) and version control (git).
Knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration and Shell scripting.
Expertise in mathematical methods for multidimensional data analysis (PCA, t-SNE, UMAP).
Stay updated on emerging analytical techniques, demonstrate initiative, autonomy, teamwork, and adaptability.
Fluent in written and spoken scientific English.

Contexte de travail

The post-doc fellow will join a research team composed of a mix of biologists, computational biologists and clinicians. The position is based at the Centre d'Immunologie Marseille Luminy (CIML), a leading research institute in immunology. Situated within the beautiful surrounding of the national park the “Calanque”, the CIML offers a vibrant scientific environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and opportunities for career development.
