Extracellular vesicles (EVs), especially mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), play a direct role in restoring tissue function and homeostasis. These EVs are increasingly seen as competent effectors as an alternative to cells for regenerative medicine in a paradigm shift from cell therapy to sub-cellular therapy (EV). The implementation of the protocol for the production of EVs in bioreactors compatible with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a major challenge in the implementation of EV MSC production.


We intend to set up a culture of MSCs in stirred tank GMP bioreactors to produce EVs. In addition, we will develop a formulation based on the resulting vesicles combined with a hydrogel and test their immunomodulatory effect in vitro and in vivo.


Required skills :
- production of adherent cells in agitated tank type bioreactors,
- production of extracellular vesicles and their characterization,
- in vitro and in vivo immuno-modulation tests

Education: Pharmacist
