As a Development Engineer specialized in generative and agential AI, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced artificial intelligence systems. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions that can generate creative content, reason autonomously, and perform complex tasks with minimal human supervision.

Activities

Design and develop generative AI models (LLMs, diffusion, etc.) adapted to the specific needs of our clients
Implement AI agent architectures capable of executing complex tasks autonomously
Create interfaces allowing AI agents to interact with various data sources and applications
Optimize the performance of existing models in terms of output quality, execution speed, and resource efficiency
Collaborate with product and client teams to understand needs and transform requirements into technical solutions Develop robust systems for evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI agents Contribute to research and innovation in the field of generative AI and multi-agent systems Ensure the implementation of ethical guardrails and security mechanisms in developed systems

Skills

Engineering degree or Master's in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related field
Experience in software development, with specialization in AI or ML
Advanced proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, etc.)
Practical experience with large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, LLaMA, or other open-source models
Knowledge of fine-tuning techniques, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and prompt engineering
Understanding of AI agent systems architecture principles and frameworks like LangChain, AutoGPT, or similar
Experience in API integration, back-end development, and databases
Familiarity with MLOps practices and AI model lifecycle management

The Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Carnot de Bourgogne (ICB, UMR 6303 CNRS/University of Burgundy) located in Dijon, in the ESEO building premises, is a research center specialized in engineering sciences and innovative technologies. Our laboratory combines scientific expertise and industrial applications in a stimulating academic environment. Within our team dedicated to artificial intelligence, we develop technological solutions that transform how organizations interact with their data and users. We are looking for a talented development engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the creation of cutting-edge generative AI and agential AI systems.
