Missions

The Cell Signaling and Endomembranes (SiCE) team studies the role of anionic phospholipids in cell signaling in plants. We combine biochemical approaches, single-molecule studies, life imaging and molecular genetics to understand aspects of plant development and cell biology.

Activités

-The candidate will work within the framework of the ERC LIPIDEV project on the role of anionic lipids in plant development. He/she will study the role of PI4P in membrane trafficking and molecular exchange from the trans-Golgi Network. He/she will carry out multi-scale studies from the protein to the organ, using the Arabidopsis thaliana root as a model plant. The candidate will use multicolor and super-resolution live imaging and proteomics methods.

Compétences

The candidate will work as part of a research team and will be expected to get involved in the organization and present the results at meetings.

Contexte de travail

The Reproduction and Development of Plants (RDP) Laboratory in Lyon carries out fundamental research aimed at a quantitative, multi-scale understanding of the development and evolution of plant reproductive structures. To achieve this, the RDP laboratory draws on classical developmental biology approaches and internationally recognized expertise in systems biology, using multidisciplinary approaches to address the molecular and physical basis of plant morphogenesis. Located on the Monod campus of the ENS Lyon, the RDP laboratory brings together 120 collaborators in 9 research teams. We have all the resources and infrastructures needed to carry out our research missions. In our dynamic, collaborative environment, creativity is encouraged, offering everyone the opportunity to contribute to innovative research projects. Our little extras : - A stimulating work environment, in close contact with research staff. - Training tailored to your needs - Partial reimbursement of transport costs (75%) + sustainable mobility package of up to 300€ / year - A site accessible by public transport + private parking - Financial contribution to health insurance costs - Access to the CNRS Economic and Social Action Committee after 6 months' service.
