Organic synthesis, material crosslinking, vitrimers, and dynamic materials.

Technical Skills:
Applied synthetic chemistry, synthesis and characterization of dynamic materials, thermomechanical characterization of vitrimer materials, scientific writing, and preparation of presentation materials.

Soft Skills:
Adherence to hygiene and safety regulations, commitment to project deliverables, team spirit, and ability to supervise others.

Contexte de travail

The project is part of the ANR ACECANISM PRC No. ANR-23-CE06-0003-02, in collaboration with ICGM and IEM in Montpellier. This research project, structured into four work packages (WPs), aims to explore and harness the potential of acetal/acyl (AcAc) systems for the development of innovative polymer materials. It brings together three partner laboratories around closely interconnected scientific objectives.

The postdoctoral researcher will be in charge of Work Package 3 (WP3), which focuses on the design of original covalent adaptable networks (CANs).

Contraintes et risques

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher holding a PhD in organic chemistry and/or polymer chemistry. Expertise in dynamic materials or vitrimers would be an asset. Strong teamwork skills and a good command of English are required. The expected start date is October 1, 2025.
