Missions
The postdoctoral researcher will support the “Scaling of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) through archetypes and middle-range theories” Knowledge Hub of PEPR SOLU-BIOD by leading data collection and analyses, and ensuring communication with internal and external partners.
Activités
1) Conduct a systematic review of levers and enablers of the implementation of nature-based solutions based on the PRISMA and CEE standards.
2) Analyse levers and enablers of the implementation of nature-based solutions using existing databases inventorying NbS and data from the SOLU-BIOD living labs to reveal their patterns and structures, and assemble them as causal chains in globally-relevant archetypes.
3) Organize workshops with stakeholders and researchers from leading NbS initiatives to validate findings from analyses and support their interpretation.
4) Write at least two scientific papers
5) Support the Knowledge Hub leaders in the coordination with partners, including the identification of relevant data bases, linking with other relevant projects, organizing meetings of the consortium and regular online communication.
6) Support the Knowledge Hub leaders in liaising with SOLU-BIOD's Knowledge Hubs program.

Contexte de travail
The French national program PEPR-SOLU-BIOD (https://www.pepr-solubiod.fr/) aims to foster nature-based innovation to create positive impacts on biodiversity, society and the economy. Specifically it aims to advance science on nature-based solutions (NbS) and to deliver knowledge and actions for their implementation and scaling. One of SOLU-BIOD's scientific priority challenge is the evaluation and scaling of NbS. In support of this challenge, the postdoctoral work will be part of the “Scaling of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) through archetypes and middle-range theories” Knowledge Hub of PEPR SOLU-BIOD, a knowledge and data synthesis project with an international consortium comprising 6 French researchers and another 9 European researchers. The Archetypes Knowledge Hub is one of the 5 Knowledge Hubs supported by SOLU-BIOD, which will form the professional network of the postdoc. They will also collaborate regularly with partners of the national SOLU-BIOD program.
The postdoctoral scientist will join the BIOM team at Laboratoire d'Ecologie Alpine (LECA), a joint unit of CNRS's National Institute of Ecology and Environment (INEE), Université Grenoble Alpes and Université Savoie Mont-Blanc, under the supervision of Sandra Lavorel. They will collaborate with the Grenoble SOLU-BIOD team at LECA and LESSEM (INRAE Grenoble), including Sandra Lavorel, Isabelle Arpin and a postdoctoral researcher in participatory modelling of nature-based solutions at LECA. Their activities will be integrated to the ServAlp research theme on nature-based climate change adaptation with a group of junior scientists co-led by Sandra Lavorel and Ignacio Palomo (IGE, Grenoble).
Le poste se situe dans un secteur relevant de la protection du potentiel scientifique et technique (PPST), et nécessite donc, conformément à la réglementation, que votre arrivée soit autorisée par l'autorité compétente du MESR.
Contraintes et risques
This is a full time position, located at LECA's office in Grenoble and requiring on-site work.
However, given this is desk-based position, requiring extensive computer work, work from home may be considered for a maximum of two days a week.
Travel : the postdoctoral scientist will be expected to attend in person at CESAB in Montpellier for three one-week consortium meetings, for training sessions and for meetings of the Knowledge Hubs program. the postdoctoral scientist will be encouraged to attend SOLU-BIOD annual meetings (variable location each year).
