Missions
The agent will be recruited as a contract researcher. He/she will be in charge of the
bioinformatics analysis of 3 clinical trials in oncology. In these 3 therapeutic trials, the bioinformatics analyses will aim to identify biomarkers of response and/or efficacy (access to before/after treatment samples and patient response status).
Activités
- Analysis of RNAseq data from clinical trial patient cohorts, including single-cell RNAseq experiments and spatial transcriptomic analyses.
-Design and structure databases and information systems to collect, structure, store and link data.
- Collaborate closely with biologists and clinicians to interpret results and participate in the drafting of reports, oral communications and publications (disseminate and promote results).
- Develop appropriate mathematical models
- Technology watch on OMICS analysis methods
Compétences
- PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics or equivalent field.
- Proficiency in R, Python and bash for transcriptomic data processing and analysis.
- Knowledge of RNAseq, single-cell RNAseq and spatial transcriptomics analysis methods.
- Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present results at conferences and write scientific publications.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, thoroughness and autonomy.

The Centre de Recherche en Cancérologie de Lyon (CRCL) is an internationally renowned center dedicated to innovative oncology research. With over 600 researchers and clinicians, CRCL is dedicated to understanding the mechanisms of cancer and developing new therapeutic strategies.
You will work in an international scientific environment dedicated to cancer research, thanks to the presence of 24 research teams and 12 technological platforms on site.
You will be integrated into our research team, entitled “Apoptosis, Cancer and Development”, which is made up of around twenty members.
