1. Develop a tool for the numerical resolution of harmonic elastodynamic equations using a controllability method, based on the modelling and inversion code SEM46 developed within SEISCOPE.
2. Implement a homogenization strategy in the SEM46 modeling and inversion code. Test this strategy on a set of synthetic case studies.
The recruited person will work in the SEISCOPE project as a post-doctoral fellow. The activities within this project include: bibilographic study, implementation and development of calculation codes, writing of technical reports, writing and submission of publications in scientific journals, scientific presentations within the SEISCOPE group, ISTerre and LJK laboratories, and in international conferences such as EAGE, SEG, SIAM.

The agent will be attached to UMR 5275, ISTerre laboratory, in Grenoble. He will work within the SEISCOPE project https://seiscope2.osug.fr/. This research project contributes to the development of high-resolution seismic imaging methods. It is funded by a panel of industrial partners from the oil industry. The financing of the post-doc will be provided by the SEISCOPE project.
