Contexte de travail

As part of the UPCYCUIR project (funded by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and a consortium of industrial partners), the IPREM laboratory (CNRS/UPPA) is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to develop innovative materials from leather waste. The work will focus on the extraction of valuable biomolecules (e.g. collagen, cysteine) and their use in the formulation of bio-based binders for the wood industry, as well as wood-leather composites.
The position is based at the IPREM Institute (CNRS/UPPA UMR 5254) on the Xylomat platform in Mont-de-Marsan (South-West of France), specialized in the development of bio-based materials. The team benefits from state-of-the-art equipment, regional funding, and an active industrial network focused on the eco-design of biomass-derived materials.
