Missions
Instrumental and experimental development of a spatially offset Raman spectroscopy (SORS) platform dedicated to operando studies of battery materials.
Activities
Under the supervision of the ROSBEEF project learders, the recruited engineer will be responsible for:
• Participating in the development and optimization of a spatially offset Raman spectroscopy (SORS) setup dedicated to in situ / operando analysis of electrochemical cells;
• Implementing experimental protocols, ensuring metrological monitoring, and contributing to the optimization of spectral responses;
• Collaborating with project partners on data collection, their interpretation and the exploitation of scientific results;
• Contributing to the training of platform users and to the drafting of scientific and technical deliverables (reports, protocols, publications);
• Participating in coordination meetings of the PEPR-Batteries project and contributing to the dissemination of results within the consortium.
Skills

• Proficiency in experimental optical setups, instrument calibration, and detection systems (CCD, lasers, optical fibers, etc.);
• Specific experience in Raman spectroscopy, especially using the SORS technique, would be highly appreciated;
• Prior knowledge of electrochemistry and materials for electrochemical energy storage would is an advantage;
• Ability to work autonomously, scientific rigor, team spirit, and strong writing skills (in French and/or English).
Work Context
The position is based at the ICGM, within department D4 “Chemistry of materials, nanostructures and materials for energy,” in close interaction with the other departments of ICGM and partners of the ROSBEEF project. The engineer will work at the heart of an interdisciplinary environment, at the interface between spectroscopy, materials chemistry, modeling, and electrochemistry.
The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
