Job Description
Missions
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to continue a research project on regeneration in the crustacean Parhyale hawaiensis, an attractive emerging model for regeneration.
The successful candidate will seek to determine the trajectories of cell differentiation into different cell types during leg regeneration, based on already generated single-nucleus RNA-seq data.
The position is funded for 4 to 6 months, from September 2026, through an FRM grant. The funding will not be extended.

Activity
Research in leg regeneration in the crustacean Parhyale hawaiensis (see above). Candidates should include a motivation letter (one page or less) stating their research interests and background.
Your Profil
Skills
We are looking for candidates with experience in bioinformatics and developmental biology. Experience with emerging model organisms and analysis of single-cell RNAseq data is a big plus. Strong communication skills in English are required.
Your Work Environment
The postdoc will work in the Developpement, regeneration and evolution' team at the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon (www.averof-lab.org). The work environment is international and a good level of communication in English is essential.
