Missions

The objective is to study the neural bases of acoustic communication and affiliation in the marmoset (a small primate) using data acquired by the team both on and off-site. Additionally, we will investigate the effects of oxytocin, a neurohormone that modulates social behavior, on communication and affiliation, as well as the underlying neural activity.
The work involves participating in the design of experiments and analyzing existing and/or upcoming behavioral (audio/video) and neuronal population data. Participation in conducting electrophysiological recording experiments on the marmoset is possible but not mandatory.

Activités

1 - Design of neuroethology experiments.
2 - Format raw data.
3 - Write statistical analysis scripts and model data using MATLAB, Python, R.
4 - Participate in writing scientific articles reporting on the data.
