Job Description
Missions
The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for analyzing Illumina sequencing data from experimental populations of Arabidopsis thaliana that have evolved in different environments over six generations. The objective is to examine the genetic determinants of rapid plant adaptation to the environment, as well as the genetic architecture of multivariate evolutionary responses. This experimental evolution project was conducted in the host laboratory between 2018 and 2025, and all data are already available at the time of the postdoctoral fellow's recruitment. This project is linked to another experimental evolution project conducted in the host laboratory on Arabidopsis thaliana (https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.adz0777).

- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools

Your Work Environment
The postdoctoral fellow will be hired at the Center for Functional and Evolutionary Ecology (CEFE, UMR5175, Montpellier; https://www.cefe.cnrs.fr/fr/). He or she will work in collaboration with the consortium members involved in the project: Moises Exposito-Alonso (University of Berkeley, USA), Niek Scheepens (University of Frankfurt, Germany), and Detlef Weigel (MPI Tuebingen, Germany).
