Missions
This collaborative project (3 partners) aims to develop hybrid materials for the sequestration of heavy metals (particularly palladium) and their subsequent use as heterogeneous catalysts. The project will therefore consist of developing and characterizing original catalysts and testing them in targeted catalytic reactions.
Activités
This project will involve:
- The characterization of original heterogeneous catalysts (before and after catalysis) using various techniques (nitrogen adsorption/desorption, IR, solid-state NMR, TEM, ...)
- Catalytic testing (in batch and continuous flow reactors) with a specific focus on C-C coupling reactions
Compétences
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with skills in 1) handling and characterizing sensitive heterogeneous catalysts and 2) performing catalytic tests and kinetic monitoring.
Contexte de travail
The successful candidate will work in a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment. He/she will be located in the CP2M laboratory in the engineering school CPE Lyon.
The CP2M laboratory is internationally recognized for its leadership in organometallic chemistry and catalysis. The laboratory has all the necessary equipment to prepare and characterize supported catalysts and to study their reactivity (Schlenk equipment, glove boxes, ultra-vacuum ramps, GC-MS, IR, UV-visible spectrometers, liquid and solid NMR etc.)
