Missions

The candidate will participate in a project that investigates how the GTPase Rho1, which drives cortical contractility essential for cytokinesis, is spatially and temporally regulated by two distinct pathways and how these pathways tailor cytokinesis to specific tissue constraints (doi: 10.1038/s41467-023-38912-9).
The Royou team is interested in understanding how cytokinesis, the partitioning of cellular content into two daughter cells, adapts to different tissue features.
