Missions

The researcher will be in charge of 3D printing optimization using Two Photon Photopolymerization (TPP) based additive manufacturing. He will also characterize integrated optical components and fibers, in particular the magneto optical properties.

Activities

The researcher hired at ICMCB will be in charge of the optimization of the additive manufacturing using Two Photon Polymerization (TPP). He/she will optimize the process on glass surface suitable with linear and nonlinear optical characterization such as phase interferometry to evaluate the index variation, micro-luminescence, micro-second and third optical nonlinearity measurements. All the techniques coupled with optical microscopy will allow multimodal cartography measurements. The post doc will be also in charge of the setting of magneto- optical measurement and the magneto-optical full characterization of fiber.

Skills

Femtosecond material processing, Beam shaping, Optical Microcaracterisation: (microabsorption, phase imaging, Micro SHG, Micro Raman), MultiPhoton photopolymerization, Advanced design of optical setup.

Work Context

Created in 1995, the Bordeaux Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry (ICMCB) focuses its research on Solid State Chemistry, Materials Science and Chemistry and Process: designing, preparing, shaping and characterizing materials in order to discover, control and optimize specific functions. The ICMCB carries out fundamental research on model materials and/or materials with potential applications.
The ICMCB is a UMR with an average of 270 agents (permanent and non-permanent), with 3 tutelles, hosted by the CNRS and in total ZRR. The position is located in a sector covered by the Protection of Scientific and Technical Potential (PSTP), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that the arrival of the agent be authorized by the competent authority of MESR.
