Job Description
Missions
Analyze the seismic data collected on the Taconnaz Glacier during the 2025 and 2026 measurement campaigns.
Activity
Characterize and locate seismic events associated with deep water percolation within the glacier.
Your Profil
Skills
Knowledge: signal processing, seismology, microseismicity
Skills: working in mountainous terrain, data collection, data analysis (using Python or MATLAB)
Interpersonal skills: teamwork

The successful candidate will join the Institute of Environmental Geosciences as part of the “cryodyn” team. The project team consists of four researchers and one doctoral student. The PAPROG program, funded by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, brings together several laboratories (EDYTEM, ISTerre, IGE, INRAE) and government agencies such as the RTM.
