Missions
We are recruiting a Financial and Administrative Manager for the Cell-ID research program. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate to join the coordination team, supervised by the program's scientific coordinator, Geneviève Almouzni. The position is located at the Institute Curie in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. Cell-ID is a 6-year program funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR).
Activities
Working closely with the Project Manager and the Scientific Coordinator, your main role will be to :
- Ensure contractual and financial follow-up of the project
- Ensure proper application of administrative rules and specific procedures from the ANR and the project partners (CNRS, Institute Curie, INSERM).
- Take part in drawing up the budget, monitoring its distribution and execution
- Assist and advise the scientific team on the use of the grant
- Monitor deadlines of the contract: coordinate the preparation and carry out activity reports and financial reports.
- Carry out transactions, liquidation, payment and settlement operations in cooperation with dedicated accounting departments
- File and archive accounting documents
- Attend meetings with various participants involved.
You will also be called upon to contribute to the organization of events, especially on the financial side (processing orders/missions):
• national seminars, organizing with the Manager
• courses, with the Training Manager and outreach activities for the general public, with the Communication Manager.
Skills
You have significant administrative and financial experience, particularly in accounting, ideally obtained in a public institution.
You are keenly aware of research funding procedures and research contract management, as well as with financial, budgetary and accounting regulations.
You are a team player, curious and proactive, and you know how to work with different partners.
Your command of spoken and written English (Level C1) will enable you to work in an international environment.
Work Context
Cell-ID is steered by CNRS, in association with key partner institutions in France. It is rooted in a broad international context. The project involves more than 30 laboratories and several technology platforms across the country. The budget is 50 million euros.
The program coordination team currently employs a project manager and a communications manager (50%) and will expand to a team of 5-6 people.
The scientific project is multidisciplinary (3 work-packages) and aims to characterize, in normal and pathological conditions, genome function and its three-dimensional organization in the context of the nucleus at molecular and cellular levels in neural tissue lineages. Cell-ID also includes an educational component (1 work-package) (interdisciplinary training program for students) and communication with the public and patients.
This position includes teleworking options according to current CNRS rules, 44 days of vacation, 75% reimbursement of public transport and partial reimbursement of health insurance costs (15 euros/month).
