Job Description
Missions
We are looking for a biologist to develop a new model of region-specific cortical organoids to study the mechanisms of human cortex development, as well as certain neurodevelopmental disorders.
Activity
Development of differentiation protocols for iPS cells into cortical organoids that recapitulate the cellular diversity and organization of the human cortex, using microfluidic devices developed within the team.
Characterization of the identity of the generated cells using immunofluorescence and transcriptomics.
Your Profil
Skills
Strong expertise in neurodevelopmental biology and tissue engineering is required. Knowledge of microfluidics and microfabrication is a plus.
Your Work Environment
The PCC UMR168 laboratory offers a highly interdisciplinary and international working environment. It brings together physicists, biologists, biochemists, and microbiologists in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Paris.
