Missions
The candidate will aim to investigate the cellular responses to aneuploidy in human cell models using approaches at the interface of biology and physics.
Activities
The postdoctoral fellow will work collaboratively within the team to implement experimental approaches in molecular, mechano and cell biology, imaging, and epigenomics, including cell culture, genetic manipulation, proteomics and genomics. S/he will have the opportunity to develop an independent research project using the laboratory's established tools and model systems.
The position also involves participation in seminars, workshops, and group meetings to promote collaboration and scientific exchange, and interactions with institutional core facilities and research groups at Institut Curie.
Skills
In-depth expertise in chromatin biology.
Manipulation of human cell lines.
Solid training in cell biology and molecular biology.
Demonstrated competence in biochemical approaches.
Hands-on experience with cell-based imaging techniques.
Proven ability to drive research projects autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English, with strong scientific presentation and communication skills.
ability to work productively in an international research setting.
