Missions
Applications are invited to fill a postdoctoral position in the team "Theory of Non-Equilibrium Quantum Matter", at the Institute of Physics of College de France (IPCdF), in Paris.
Activités
The theoretical research activity will focus on quantum many-body systems far from thermal equilibrium
(including, but not limited to, Floquet driven systems, open-dissipative systems and correlated electrons coupled to quantum light) and will be funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant "Light-Control of Non-Equilibrium Quantum Matter".
Compétences
Candidates with research experience (PhD) in either non-equilibrium many body physics, condensed matter theory, statistical physics and quantum optics are especially encouraged to apply. Depending on the project and candidate's expertise and preferences the work might range from mainly analytical to largely numerical.
Contexte de travail
The theoretical activity will be carried out at IPCdF in collaboration with Marco Schiro', and it will benefit from interactions with other groups at College-de-France and in the Paris area actively working on related topics both on the theory and the experimental side.
