Job Description
Missions
Although NEMO is most often used in realistic configurations, we also use simplified setups to test, validate, and demonstrate the various capabilities of the model. The internship we are offering consists of defining, developing, documenting, and making available to the community a number of these small demonstrators. The possibilities are very broad and could, for example, involve representing currents as well as temperature and salinity structures within ocean eddies. This work draws on concepts from physics and applied mathematics, as well as practical Python skills for data analysis.
